Memphis Mayor Pro Tem Myron Lowery's guest column on CNN.com -- "Why I fist-bumped the Dalai Lama" -- is among the most read stories on the national new organization's Web site right now. In fact, it's listed as No. 7 on the "Most Viewed" section of the site.
In the column, Lowery wrote of his encounter with the Dalai Lama: "He is about peace and harmony, and a fist bump is just another expression of warm friendship that he again returned to me before he left."
